Itinerary

 <span>Program  </span>visiting The Karnak Temples

A representative and an Egyptologist guide will pick you up from Luxor airport to start your full-day tour. Begin by visiting the Karnak Temples on the East Bank, dedicated to the god Amun. This vast complex, built from the 18th Dynasty to the Roman era, is one of the largest places of worship ever constructed. Within the complex, the magnificent Hypostyle Hall is an impressive forest of towering pillars.

Next, proceed to visit the Luxor Temple, built by King Amenhotep III, which features one of the tallest obelisks in the world.

<span>Program </span>Valley of the Kings

Then continue driving to the West bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings, which was used as the burial of many kings buried in this valley. The original burial site of King Tutankhamun where the magnificent Tombs were discovered carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs, and have the opportunity to visit three Tombs.

(The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs before your visit).

visit The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

The most famous tombs are King Tuthmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI. Then move to visit The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Queen Hatshepsut was the daughter of Thutmosis I, and she ruled Egypt for about 21 years and she is considered the only pharaonic woman who reigned in ancient Egypt. Later you will pass by the Colossi of Memnon, which are the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Later you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel
